EPDM rubber vs GRP fibreglass

EPDM rubber is laid as a single sheet with no seams or joints to fail, flexes with temperature changes and is ideal for garages, extensions and larger flat areas. GRP fibreglass is a glass-reinforced resin laid in layers and cured to a hard, seamless shell — excellent where the roof might take foot traffic or where a neat, painted finish is wanted. We'll recommend the right one for your roof and how it's used.

Why modern flat roofs last

Both systems are fully bonded and seamless, so there are no laps for water to creep under — the usual failure point on old felt roofs. Done properly, with the decking sound and the edges detailed correctly, a modern flat roof is a fit-and-forget job for decades.
